The Love Network story

Hello! My name's Obi Nwokogba, and this is a short story of how the Love Network started. In March 2008, while I was a student at Cornell University, I made a t-shirt of a gorilla in a suit and gave it to my friend, Chibueze Ekeh, to wear it out. Soon, the gorilla (Humphree) mysteriously started showing up all around campus and wherever Ekeh and I went wearing the shirt, people wanted one too. Ekeh and I then converted my room into a small 'factory', and started making shirts of similar themes, with the idea of the shirts being 'to remind people to be nice to one another and to spread love'.

We first made shirts for a many of our friends on campus, These people ended up being the first group 'in the love network'. Now, we continue to make shirts and the network continues to grow, symbolizing the same thing as it did before, spreading LOVE.As the network continues to grow so will the collection of designs. Think of this like...a continuing story...
